Hero Next Door is an investigative journey into the lives of ordinary people who have risked it all to conquer extraordinary odds to help a neighbor in their greatest time of need.

Each week we will investigate the circumstances that led up to a pivotal moment in a community's history. These events and tragedies will be told in first person accounts through interviews of witnesses and victims leading up to the introduction of an unsung hero that arrived on the scene in the nick of time. For many heroes the acts they have accomplished are perceived to be of no importance and often go un-noticed, but to the person or persons directly affected by these heroic acts it is a moment in their lives that they will never forget. These are the stories of the Hero Next Door.
