This Ole Bar is an investigative look into the stories that originate from the bars we all love. From ghost haunting to gun slinging and town hall meetings, saloons have witnessed history in the making and our host Troy McClain will be there to uncover the truth and bring these tales to life. Troy will investigate every aspect of the story, an adventure that will take him on a journey across the country. Every watering hole has its own nostalgia and local legends, but just investigating these stories is not enough. Troy will find many situations that tie him directly to the stories he is uncovering. For example, a hike to the fatal plane crash site of Clark Gable's wife uncovers the facts that make the Pioneer Saloon famous. After making his own surfboard with the owner of the Brooklyn Surf Bar, Troy is challenged to try his first attempt at surfing. In Virginia City, the patrons of the Bucket of Blood saloon rope Troy into attempting to win the crown of the annual outhouse races. At the Carousel Bar in New Orleans, Troy tips a glass to those locals who continue to visit in spirit form.
